Jaguars
Jaguars live mostly in the Amazon basin of South America, but are also found in Central America and southern North America. They are considered to be the third-largest cat in the world, after tigers and lions. They are solitary animals and mark their territory to keep separate.
Jaguars are mammals. They are carnivores and eat a diet rich in meat and fish. Unlike most cats, they actually don't mind the water and can swim pretty well to catch some dinner there. They've even been known to dip their tails in the water to entice fish to come closer. And when it comes time to eat, jaguars prefer to drag their food to the trees for privacy.
