Sloths
Sloths are having a moment as the world takes notice of their endearing, slow-moving ways. Sloths are related to anteaters and armadillos. There are two-toed sloths, which are active at night, and three-toed sloths, which are active during the day. Known for being slow, sloths move along the ground at just 6 feet per minute! In the trees, they are slightly quicker at 10 feet per minute.
They spend most of their time sleeping in the trees of Central and South America, and they only come down once a week or so for a potty break. Though not very graceful on land, sloths are surprisingly good swimmers and can hold their breath for about 40 minutes underwater!
